Bio/Description

Rama M. Hagos is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Sociology and Office of Population Research, Princeton University. She received her M.A. in Sociology from Princeton University in 2021 and her bachelor's degree in Anthropology/Sociology from Amherst College in 2015. Her work has been recognized with the Porter Ogden Jacobus Fellowship, President's Fellowship, and the Prize Fellowship in the Social Sciences.

Her research draws on historical and contemporary data sources to understand differential patterns of integration over time in the United States and internationally across a range of health, economic, and social outcomes. Her work has been published in the Journal of Health and Social Behavior, Public Policy & Aging Report, International Journal of Health Equity, and Early Childhood Research Quarterly.
